What Is An "Association?"

Associations are made up of churches who join together to get things done together that they can't do alone. They are formed on a regional basis, sometimes a county or group of adjoining counties. Missouri has 63 Baptist associations who relate in a cooperative fashion with the Missouri Baptist Convention and the Southern Baptist Convention.
