  1. Ashland Baptist Church – This will be their second year to do a month-long VBS that they call “July 4 Jesus.” A different curriculum is used each week. They need three youth teams to each conduct one week of VBS (They have one team committed already). Housing and food will be provided for the guest teams. The VBS curriculum will be provided in advance of arrival for the teams so they can train prior to coming. “July 4 Jesus” is from 9-12 a.m.--break for lunch—and continue from 1-3 p.m. Lunch will be provided for the guest team and for the kids. The church will plan events and activities in the evenings for the guest team and the youth. The guest team will lead an evangelistic service on Friday night of their week.   2. First Baptist Church, Centralia, MO would like to have a mission team to help them canvas their entire community, give out materials about their church, share Christ as the opportunity arises, and record prospects.   3. Crossroads Baptist Association - Musselfork Community Church, a church plant in November 2005, needs teams to do construction work on their building which was built in 1899. Windows need to be repaired, installation and insulation of the 24 ft. ceiling needs to be completed, and sheet rock installation needs to be finished. They also need financial help in installing a septic system. Renick Community Church was launched in March 2007. They need teams that can help with VBS, block parties and evangelistic outreach.   4. Crossroads Cowboy Church, Kingdom City, MO needs prayer that the Lord will show them the location to put a church building and the finances to cover it.   6. Grand Crossings Baptist Association needs the following for Camp Cedar Crest: A four unit dorm building needs to be rewired for a motel type heating and cooling unit. The building has four separate sleeping areas. Each area will need to be rewired, insulated and paneled. Plans are to completely redo each unit with shower and bathroom facilities.   7. Inner City St Louis - The St. Louis Project is an entry level mission trip for Junior High, High School and University age students. This is an eight day trip where we train and equip through conference training which is immediately followed up by on-the-field training. We have a three-fold purpose for these endeavors: One, to see lost people come to Christ; two, to see struggling inner-city churches encouraged; and three, to train the next generation to effectively and relatively build the church for generations to come. The theme for the 2010 St. Louis Project is Share the God of this City. Our goal for the 10th anniversary of this project is to have 110 Student Ministries all in St. Louis at the same time, doing missions and sharing Christ. Join the movement- 110 in 2010! Medicine Valley Community Ministry - Ministers to five villages (Newtown, Harris, Osgood, Humphreys and Reger) and the surrounding countryside with a total population of approximately 1,800 people. They are in need of volunteers to assist with the following: Installation of a handicap accessible restroom on the sanctuary level in the chapel building at Newtown, and placing of fill dirt behind the driveway retaining walls and around the basketball court at their offices and ministry center in Harris.   14. Prince de Paz Baptist Church, a member of the Blue River-Kansas City Baptist Association, is located in the northeast part of Kansas City, Missouri. It is a small congregation with limited financial means. The church building needs a new roof (mainly repairing) new ceilings and some painting needs to be done.   17. Shining Light Baptist Church, Charleston, MO is trying to reach their community for Christ and their emphasis is on children and youth. Would like teams to come and install siding on the remainder of the building, finish the roofing, flooring, concrete work, sheet rocking, finish kitchen, build a dining area/game room, build the food pantry/clothes closet and much more outside. Help is needed with VBS, Block Parties, Sports Camps, Super Saturday and Discipling Events. Local area people are needed to teach Bible Study, work with kids, assist during worship, music (praise and worship leaders, musicians, music teachers) preparing food, feeding the kids, nursery workers, bathroom patrol, cleaning, etc. Monetary assistance is needed for day-to-day operations, to finish the building and for special projects.
