Volunteer Missions
Men's Missions and Ministry
Volunteers serve as short-term missionaries touching lives, meeting needs, and communicating the Christ's story to a lost and dying world.
Volunteer Missions
“How then shall they call upon Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach unless they are sent? Just as it is written, ‘How beautiful are the feet of those who bring glad tidings of good things’” (Rom. 10:14-15 NASB). Volunteers serve as short-term missionaries touching lives, meeting needs, and communicating the Christ’s story to a lost and dying world. Some volunteers can serve for months, others for a week or two. Some volunteers serve multiple times each year.

Mobilization Groups:
- Baptist Builders: you don’t have to know how to drive a nail or roof a house to volunteer for construction teams. All it takes is a willing spirit. Adult volunteer groups and individuals are annually matched with hundreds of requests for church construction assistance. It is a great way to give your time and present a witness to the community where you serve.
- Campers on Mission: If you like the open road then Campers on Mission may be just right for you. Campers on Mission is a national fellowship of Christian campers who combine their love of the outdoors with ministry across North America and Canada. Retired and active career individuals, young families, and grandparents are all represented.
- World Changers: This ministry has changed the way junior high, senior high, and college students experience missions. Weeklong construction projects focus on repair and improvements to low-income housing. Community projects blend construction with exciting ministries, ranging from tutoring and relating to children and youth to helping senior adults. Groups must complete a six-session mission study and local work project before attending.
