Kaylor, MBC resolve differences

Kaylor, MBC resolve differences

January 14, 2005

ST. LOUIS – The MBC and Carol Kaylor recently resolved their lawsuit and as part of that resolution agreed to issue the following statement:

“Carol Kaylor and the Missouri Baptist Convention have been involved in expensive litigation.  With Mrs. Kaylor’s consent, the Court has ruled in favor of The Missouri Baptist Convention finding there is no legal claim for sexual harassment asserted by Mrs. Kaylor against David Clippard and/or the Missouri Baptist Convention.  The insurance company defending the Missouri Baptist Convention has agreed to resolve the remaining claims and pay Mrs. Kaylor’s attorneys; both parties have agreed that a contribution will be made to the Lottie Moon Christmas offering.  Both Mrs. Kaylor and the Missouri Baptist Convention are pleased this matter is resolved and behind them.”
