Cajón Instructions - A new type of instrument is making the scene. Youth groups are using them as a cheap and portable answer to the drumset.

The Missouri Music Men is a open group of worship leaders, leading worship in this Men’s Choir format. The group comprises of full-time, bi-vocational, volunteer, and retired worship leaders. They have a bell choir, praise band and brass ensemble as well. John Francis is the director. For more info, call our office, 573-636-0400, ex. 250.

The statewide worship academy is a training ground for worship leaders across the state. There are three study tracks available. The Basic Track and the Associate Tracks will be held evenings and on Saturday. The Professional Track will be held during the day as well.
Jeff Cranfill will also be the guest conductor for the Instrumental Workshop portion of the event. The Instrumental Workshop begins at 7:00 p.m.on Friday and concludes with a 2:00 p.m. concert on Saturday.
The conference cost is only $39 per person and included registration fee, study book and a diploma. If you register at least two weeks prior to the start date (July 7) you will also receive a T-Shirt.
Hannibal-LaGrange College is offering affordable housing for the event. The cost for dorm space is $15 per night or $10 per night if you bring your own linens. To reserve a place, contact Sue Booth at sbooth@hlg.edu or or call her at (573) 822-6416.
