The Missouri Music Men is a open group of worship leaders, leading worship in this Men’s Choir format. The group comprises of full-time, bi-vocational, volunteer, and retired worship leaders. They have a bell choir, praise band and brass ensemble as well. Wayne Garrison is the director. For more info, call our office, 573-636-0400, ex. 251.

Five-time Dove Award winner Craig Adams has a fiery passion for creating resources for worship ministry. It has been Craig Adamshis roles in local church ministry that have fueled his efforts as Creative Director for Brentwood-Benson Music Publishing for nearly six years and continues to motivate him in his current role as Manager of Creative Development and Publishing for LifeWay Worship. His current responsibilities as Manager include: concept development for all LifeWay Worship church music resources, song and songwriter development, contract negotiation, copyright administration, arranging, orchestrating, lifewayworship.com development, seminar leadership, and more. Craig resides in Franklin, TN with his wife of 15 years, Deanna, and 2 children, Madeline and Hayden.

Dr. Bill Brown, organist at First Baptist Church of Bolivar and Pro-vost/Professor of Music at SBU, will teach sessions for Church Pianists and Organists.

McLaughlin

Dan McLaughlin, Minister of Music at McCarthy Baptist Church, St. Joseph, MO. will offer sessions for Part-time/Bivocational Music and Worship Ministers.

Anne Blankenship
has nearly 15 years experience as the Pre-school & Kindergarten Choir director at First Baptist Church of Bolivar. She is also experienced with special needs children. Her sessions will concentrate on Preschool & Kindergarten Choir.

Tanya McMillen

Tanya McMillan,
Ministry Assistant in the Missouri Baptist Convention Worship Department, has been a Children's Choir director for over 30 years. She will lead sessions for Children's Choir leaders.

FBC, Bolivar Handbell Festival

First Baptist Church of Bolivar is hosting their 2nd Annual Handbell Festival on March 2-3, 2012. The festival will begin Friday evening with the first session beginning at 7:00 p.m. and will conclude on Saturday at 3:00 p.m.  The cost is $100 for for first handbell choir and $50 for each additional choir from the same church.

Christine Anderson will the be guest clinician. Christine is an outstanding clinician and in constant demand for handbell workshops and festivals, incorporating a teaching style that makes learning fun and techniques unforgettable.

Regional Keyboard Festivals - April 21, 2011

Investing into tomorrow's Worship Leaders. Encourage a student today to showcase his/her talents for the Lord. Don't miss out on the Regional Keyboard Festivals. Find one near you!

The Regional Keyboard Festivals are for students currently in grades 1-12. They are held in multiple locations around the state to give an opportunity for more participation. Each festival will be held from 9:00 a.m. until approximately 12:00 noon depending on participation in each location. An exact schedule will be sent to each student and teacher about two weeks prior to the festivals.

Registration Deadline is March 21!
