SAT Cover 2008This year the Sr. Adult Share-A-Tune will feature guest clinician Joseph Martin who is the Director of Sacred Publications for Shawnee Press. In addition, Joe is well know as a pianist and clinician.

The Sr. Adult Share-A-Tune is a fun-filled event for Sr. Adult Choirs, churches considering starting a Sr. Adult choir or individual Sr. Adults who love to sing.

The cost is $45 if you register by October 20 and $50 after that date. The registration fee includes the cost of the music, the banquet on Thursday evening and breakfast on Friday morning. The cost of the hotel is $49 per room.

The event begins with a combined choir rehearsal at 2:00 on Thursday and concludes at 11:30 on Friday.

Instrumental Workshop Cover 2009
February 27-28, 2009

This year's Instrumental Workshop will feature music from the 2008 Baptist Hymnal and the orchestra will combine with the Concord Baptist Church choir for a Worship Concert at 2:00 on Saturday afternoon. The director this year will be John Francis, Worship Specialist for the Missouri Baptist Convention.

The cost is only $20 per person if the registration is postmarked by February 2. After that date the fee increases to $25.

The workshop begins at 6:30 on Friday, February 27 and concludes at 2:45 on Saturday, February 28.

Handbell Brochure Cover2009
March 13-14, 2009

Dan Arterburn will be the clinician for the 2009 Handbell Festival to be held at South Gate Baptist Church in Springfield on March 13-14. Dan currently serves as the Tennessee Baptist Convention's Handbell Consultant as is the Tennessee Chair of the AGEHR.

The registration fee is $60 per choir if postmarked by February 20. After that date the fee increases to $70. In addition this year lunch will be available at the church for a cost of $5.00 each. Detailed information about the festival can be found in the brochure.

The 2009 Regional Keyboard Festivals for grades 1-12 will be held on April 18. Piano students wishing to participate should register no later than March 23. An abbreviated listing of the requirements is available in the 2009 brochure with a complete listing in the Missouri Baptist Keyboard Handbook, Teacher's Edition (revised, 2000). The Locations are:
